Johann Lafer is an Austrian chef living in Germany. He became well known through his TV cooking show and his numerous cookbooks. His television show is self-produced. He was a regular guest of the television host Markus Lanz, in whose show he regularly prepared meals in front of an audience. 

TOM COLICCHIO

NEW YORK CITY & LONG ISLAND

Thomas Patrick Colicchio is an American celebrity chef. He has been the head judge on every season of Bravo reality TV show Top Chef as well as Best New Restaurant which he also executive produces. Colicchio has also been a featured chef on Great Chefs shows.

 

He co-founded the Gramercy Tavern in New York City, and formerly served as a co-owner and as the executive chef. He is also the founder of Crafted Hospitality, which includes Craft, Temple Court, Craftsteak and Small Batch restaurants.

Though new to competitive BBQ, Philips' culinary mantra, 'The basics perfected: Time, Temperature, and Technique,' propelled him into the spotlight, quickly making him a fan favorite. It’s no surprise that Philips has garnered a loyal social media following, as his candid approach, humility, and personal charisma have captivated viewers.

With over two decades of culinary expertise, including a distinguished tenure at a two-star Michelin restaurant, Span’s career has been defined by a comprehensive understanding of international culinary techniques and traditions.

This includes clear communication, articulating expectations, listening to feedback, resolving conflicts, and providing updates, all while motivating my team and meeting project deadlines. My culinary knowledge is crucial for recipe development, quality control, and innovation. Managing timelines, resources and budgets are essential for operational efficiency.

With MEATER, I’ve directed and produced collaborations with Tom to elevate the brand beyond its outdoor and BBQ focus. By showcasing its application in indoor cooking, we’re redefining MEATER’s versatility and demonstrating its effectiveness with unique cuts of meat, such as rabbit and those not listed in the app.
